October 6, 2014: Master Bathroom Update

We’ve been using the master bathroom for several weeks now. Since my last post about the master bathroom, the glass shower enclosure was installed and the entry door and door to the storage closet have been stained. We still have to install door hardware. As of this point, I haven’t found exactly what I want at a price that is acceptable. And we’re a bit light on accessories, though I am starting to work on that aspect of the room. We added legs under the bottom shelf to make the shelving look more like furniture. We’ve also decided to order cabinet doors to enclose the bottom shelf.

Here’s a photo update:

The sky-light window has been framed out.

Door to the storage closet. This door had to be custom cut because the opening is shorter than a standard door.

I’m starting to think about decor items for the bathroom now. I picked up these storage baskets at Michaels a couple of days ago.

Slowly this room is coming together. Everything takes way more time than I think it should. I guess when things are finally together, I’ll appreciate them more.
