Yesterday was a chilly, rainy day here in the mountains, a perfect day for a soup dinner. I made another version of chicken soup using my versatile Make-Ahead Chicken Soup Base. By just adding a few ingredients, the basic soup base was transformed into a delicious, satisfying creamy soup with wild rice and mushrooms. The addition of dried herbs ramped up the flavor and the comfort factor!
