I’ve been ruminating all month about the look for this year’s Thanksgiving table. I considered several options for the table linens, chargers, dishes, glassware, and napkin rings before deciding on the choices shown above. I was drawn to the Tahari Home Paisley tablecloth and napkins when I found them at Home Goods. Though I considered other options for the table linens, ultimately I chose to use those. The goblets are Savannah by Artland, purchased a few years ago from Home Goods, but are currently available on Amazon or Target. The dishes are Sicily White by Thomson Pottery also purchased from Home Goods several years ago ( available on Amazon.) The rattan chargers are from World Market and the bronze iron napkin rings are old, purchased from Antique Farm House.
I knew in September when I purchased the Landon 5-Votive Tray Candleholder from World Market that it would be used as the dining table centerpiece throughout the fall. I’m still loving it, so this centerpiece of fall leaves, mini-pumpkins and gourds, pine cones and excelsior will make one last appearance on our Thanksgiving table before being reworked with a Christmas look.
The silverware is old and was inherited from my grandmother. The pattern is Lady Edith by Empress. The cute little pilgrim salt and pepper shakers are collectibles sold at Publix supermarket. I purchased them when I lived in South Florida.
Our Thanksgiving table will soon be filled with family. We’ll enjoy wonderful food, love, and laughter. And, above all, we’ll be thankful for time together!
