Elegant, Quick, and Easy Holiday Centerpiece

20151207_145120ew TITLEI am still out of town, so holiday decor in our home is progressing much more slowly than I had  planned. Today I am featuring a quick and easy, elegant holiday centerpiece. This beauty is in my newlywed daughter’s dining room.  The candlesticks and footed bowl were wedding gifts.

She filled the beautiful Emma Footed Serve Bowl (from Pottery Barn) with a faux  evergreen candle ring from Joann as a nest cradling a collection of gold and white ornaments (purchased at Joann and Target) and added a few loose faux sprigs plucked from an evergreen pick.  White tapers sit in the Lighting By Design Candle Sticks. Everything sits atop a soft, textured table runner with a neutral woodgrain pattern. This centerpiece took only minutes to construct. It gives the table and dining room just the right touch of elegance and holiday spirit.

Nestled amid the gold and white ornaments is this clear glass ornament that holds their wedding invitation which has been cut into strips and curled. This was also a wedding gift, from one of Brown-eyed Girl’s best childhood friends.

How lovely on their first Christmas as husband and wife to incorporate some of these beautiful wedding gifts into their holiday decor in such an easy, elegant way!
